HeyHi Account Deletion

You can delete your HeyHi account and its data as described below.

Delete in the app

1. Sign in to the HeyHi app.
2. Open the My Page tab and tap the menu (☰) in the top right to go to Settings.
3. Under Account, tap Delete account and follow the instructions.

Deletion is processed immediately and cannot be undone.

If you cannot use the app

If you have removed the app or cannot sign in, email carpe@carpecorp.com with the following. We will delete your account without delay after verifying your identity.

• Subject: HeyHi account deletion request
• The sign-in method you used (Kakao, Google, or Apple)
• The email address of that account

Data that is deleted

• Profile (nickname, handle, profile photo, bio) and social sign-in link
• AI chats, stories, Personas, Gem Box, affinity and scene records
• Notification settings, push tokens, and consent records
• Paid and Free Credits you hold

Data that is retained

As required by law, the following is de-identified, kept for the stated period, and then destroyed.

• Payment and refund records: 5 years (Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce)
• Consumer complaint and dispute records: 3 years
• Login records: 3 months (Protection of Communications Secrets Act)
• Usage statistics of AI requests (number of requests, processing volume; no chat content)

Data remaining in disaster-recovery backups is deleted within 7 days. Comments you wrote remain with the author information removed.
